2. ICRP Mentorship Opportunity — Task Group 113

The International Commission on Radiological Protection is accepting applications for a mentorship opportunity under Task Group 113, which is working on reference organ and effective dose coefficients for common diagnostic X-ray imaging examinations.

The mentee will support the development of an interactive web application using R and R Shiny to help users explore ICRP paediatric fluoroscopy dose coefficient data. ICRP states that the ideal candidate should have programming skills in R and R Shiny, experience with user-interface design, communication and quality assurance planning, software documentation and distributed version control systems such as Git or GitHub.
